Phase One Works were appointed for a multitude of enabling works for project ref Nano based in Brookman’s Park, Hatfield. The initial stages included soft strip and partial demolition of existing structures to enable future development.
Our overall scope then evolved to include the demolition of circa 1500m2 of existing slab and hard standings, disposal of non-hazardous spoil, formation of new pad foundations, ground beams, external slab, lift pit, ramps and stairs, sump pump and French drainage. These new slabs and foundations formed the base for a new 55tn structural steel gantry for external MEPH plant, all procured and managed by Phase One. This includes design, supply and installation of architectural staircases, handrails, open mesh flooring, all galvanized and finished with specialist paint work
Further works included a further extension to another building on the site with formation of new cantilevered slab, underground drainage, and structural steel. As well as the excavation and installation of new service trenches for new services throughout the site.
All works had to be meticulously planned in accordance RF control procedures and high-risk surrounding data centre and services.
